If your face type is a:
Oval face, your face is balanced and can support any type of eyeglass frame.
Square face, try round frames, preferably metal to soften the angular look of your face.
Heart shaped face, choose frames wider at the bottom than at the top to balance a wide forehead that angles down to a small chin.
Round Face, you should avoid round frames, they will make the face look larger. A round face is fuller, try a rectangular frame or boxy frame in a lighter color.
Diamond Shape face, you have a narrow forehead. Choose a small frame in an oval shape to minimize the horizontal distance between your temples.
Your glasses should balance your Face shape, follow these quick tips…
The choice of a frame often has a lot to do with the prescription.
Depending on the power or thickness of the lenses smaller rounder frames are better for higher prescriptions. If you require certain types of bifocals or progressive lenses, then again there is usually a minimum depth of frame from the bottom of the eye-wire to the top.
Our licensed Opticians can help you in choosing the best possible eyeglass frame, to accommodate your prescription.
Ask yourself, do your glasses reflect your personality and complete the image you wish to project. Ultimately you want to feel confidant and comfortable in the eyeglass frames you choose. Quality of vision is important along with looking good. You will probably keep your eyeglasses for the next 2 years. So choose something that you will not regret or get bored of!
